Algonquin Park is the oldest provincial park in Canada. Founded in 1893 Algonquin Park has a long important history intertwined with canoeing. Samsara Wilderness Tours currently runs trips ranging from one night to ten days in the park. On these trips you will learn how to properly portage your gear, how to set up camp properly, as well as how to cook tasty meals in the backcountry. Our guides will prepare all the equipment, permits and food necessary for the entire trip. Trips into the park are customizable to be as challenging or leisurely as you desire. Wildlife spotted on our trips includes loons, snapping turtles, moose, beavers and much more.
