French River Backcountry Tours
Guided excursions through the French River Provincial Park backcountry are best experienced on a 6-10 day trip. Stretching for 105 kilometres from Lake Nipissing all the way to Georgian Bay, the French River offers some of the most breathtaking paddling opportunities in all of Ontario, arguably even Canada. With very few portages, this route is perfect for paddlers who want a longer, more relaxing trip while still taking in the rugged hills and thick forests of the Canadian Shield.
